Gary from Spongebob

Gary from Spongebob is a favorite and unique character. He's the pet snail of Spongebob, and acts like a cat would in our world. In Spongebob's world, the cats are snails, and the dogs are worms. Gary from Spongebob even meows and purs like a cat would, and will tear up the couch when Spongebob isn't home.

His most famous episode is "Have You Seen This Snail?". In this episode, Spongebob forgets to feed Gary (we get to see a glimps inside his shell, which looks like a mini-room) and he runs away. Little did we know, Gary knows how to leave notes that Spongebob can read! He finds himself downtown and very afraid, but not to worry! Spongebob is looking for him.

Another famous episode featuring Gary from Spongebob is "The Great Snail Race". In this episode, Squidward gets himself a pet snail.....not just a pet though, he plans to enter his snail in the snail race. Spongebob knows Gary is just as good as Squid's snail, so he enters him too. Poor Gary is worked a little too hard though, and Spongebob learns a good lesson.

Gary from Spongebob appears in other episodes as well. On talent night he reads poetry (which Sandy absolutely loves). In one episode he takes a liking to Patrick so much Spongebob thinks he's lost him. In another episode we watch Spongebob attempt to give him a bath (and he's quite smarter than Spongebob thinks!). We even get a glimps into his dream in one episode when Spongebob jumps in his dream bubble.
